Used and refurbished IBC containers save both money and the environment

We refurbish IBC containers according to high-quality standards and customer requirements – making them a more affordable and ecological alternative compared to purchasing new ones.

You can purchase used and refurbished containers from us, or you can send your old containers for refurbishment and reuse. We collect used IBC containers directly from our customers’ premises for either refurbishment or proper recycling. You can read more about our refurbishment services here.

Containers that are eligible for refurbishment are carefully cleaned, washed, and dried. All container parts are inspected, and if necessary, repaired or replaced. Finally, the containers are identified, pressure-tested, and delivered to an interim warehouse awaiting delivery to a new customer. Any residual raw materials collected during the refurbishment process are sent to approved material and waste treatment facilities for recycling or disposal.

The biggest difference you’ll notice between a new and a refurbished container is a smaller invoice and a smaller carbon footprint!

We also provide periodic inspections for IBC Containers

Paketo Recycling carries out periodic inspections of plastic and metal IBC containers under a license granted by TUKES. Detailed documentation and reports are created for all inspections performed.

We conduct periodic inspections both at our own facilities and at the customer’s premises. If container cleaning and/or refurbishment is required during the inspection process, we will transport the containers to our factory for servicing.

However, inspections can also be performed on unwashed containers using ultrasonic testing – enabling cost savings on freight by carrying out the inspection directly at the customer’s site.
